Being able to utilise this skill in the feasibility of a project enables BBAD Ltd to design Architectural sites that meet and exceed client demand but also meet the new legislation set by new policies relating to reduced Carbon emissions, reduced water usage, reduced ecological implications, reduced wastage and higher household recycling, which effectively means that the built environment has a positive input to climate change.

BBAD Ltd has worked on various sites which have achieved a Code Level 3 and have also worked on a number of sites which have achieved an EcoHomes rating of Very Good. BBAD Ltd have worked closely with a number of Housing Associations in London, including Home and Sentinal to ensure a high standard of Carbon Reduced Housing has been provided to them.

BBAD Ltd has also formed partnerships with Building Control, EcoHometec and Alpha Boilers to ensure we are kept up to date with the ever changing technical advances in heating systems and renewable energy systems.

In April 2010 the Building Regulations are due to be amended to take on board one part of the Code for Sustainable Homes, Carbon Emissions. A reduced rate on the overall SAP Calculation DER (Dwelling Emission Rate) of 25% will then be required to comply with Building Regulations and as Architectural Designers, SAP Assessors and Code for Sustainable Homes Assessors BBAD Ltd can ensure all aspects of the design process, the technical process and the sustainable process are adhered to and all within one company.
